Established by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), this magnificent temple was inaugurated on April 20, 1975. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Lord Balaram, the divine brothers, along with Radha-Shyamasundar and Gaura-Nitai. The temple complex is an architectural marvel, built with exquisite Italian marble and featuring intricately carved columns, pillars, and archways. The main shrine houses the beautiful deity forms of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram dressed in colorful attire and adorned with flowers and jewels. ISKCON Vrindavan is not just a place of worship but also a major spiritual and cultural center.
